GoodT Kananga Water

We make our Kananga water in small batches and age it for a moon cycle. We infuse our Kananga Water with fervent prayers, rum, sage, rose, rosemary, ylang ylang, and a few other GoodT Things. 

Much like Florida water, Kananga water can be used as an offering and for ritual cleansing. It clears negative energy from a room, protects, and amplifies ancestral work. 

A difference between Kananga water and Florida water is the aroma. Florida water is more citrus and lavender based and Kananga water is made with heavier floral notes, think ylang ylang and rose.

Kananga gets its  name from its main component, ylang ylang, also known as cananga odorata. Plantations for producing kananga water were established by the British in Jamaica in the 19th century.

Kananga is also the name of the capital city in the Kasai province in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
